Warm, helpful apps.
Made slowly, with care.

Hi, I'm a solo indie developer building small, gentle apps that help people manage their everyday life with mental health and companionship at heart.

Bavi In the workshop

"Help me start what I keep avoiding."

A calm little beaver for tangled to-dos, Bavi untangles overwhelming tasks into small, clear steps, picks the one piece that fits right now, and keeps you gentle company while you start.

  • Untangle any task
  • One small next step
  • Assisted focus sessions
  • Kind replanning when stuck

You don't need to build everything right now. Just place the first piece.

Why "Lazy" Hippo?

Slow is not a bug. It's the feature.

Lazy Hippo Development is a one-person studio based in Seoul, Korea. I believe technology should feel like a friend who sits beside you not another thing shouting for your attention.

Every app I make starts from the same questions: Does this make someone's day a little softer? Does it respect their pace, their privacy, and their peace of mind? If the answer is yes, the hippo gets to work. Slowly. But it gets there.

  • Mental health first

Designed to reduce stress, never add to it. No dark patterns, no guilt mechanics.

  • Companionship

Every app has a small friend inside cheering you on through everyday life.

  • Helpful by design

Practical tools for real routines built to genuinely make a change, however small.
